Sketch is part of our forever foster program, even though he continues looking for a permanent family that is willing to accept his idiosyncrasies. . A family who will love him and understand that some shelties like to chase birds and climb trees.
Sketch has normal hearing and vision. He is easily spooked and very noise sensitive. He requires special handling and, seems to bond with one individual in the home, he'll remind you of a homing pigeon. He takes a long time for him to trust. He'll hide all the toys (or perceived toys) in your house in the back yard. Sketch needs a home with an experienced person who is familiar and has previously fearful dogs. A fenced yard is a must as Sketch is just now learning to walk on leash and is still a little skeptical. Sketch always has his eye on the sky. Sketch is approximately 17 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds. This is not a dog for the average pet owner, SERIOUS inquiries only!!! Please note TSR only adopts to residents of NC. |
