About Toby

Toby's foster family has been helping him gradually gain weight by increasing his calorie intake at a healthy pace. This friendly boy enjoys spending time with his foster brothers and sisters, whether it's a game of tug with his foster sister, chasing toys, or sneaking off with his foster mom's neck pillow, after all, it looked like a toy to him! When play time is over, he loves curling up for a nap in a soft, cushy dog bed. Toby will do best in a home with a securely fenced yard and another dog to keep him company. He is shy when first meeting new people, a result of his past environment, but with patience and kindness, he quickly blossoms into a loving and devoted companion. Formal training classes would help build his confidence and manners. Because he's a quick runner and a bit of a door-dasher, a fenced yard is essential to keep him safe.
