Buddy has made much improvement since coming to TSR's loving arms! Buddy has gained a lot of strength in his back legs
which makes it easier for him to move around on hardwood floors. He occasionally will trot around the back yard and is learning to navigate stairs so he can spend more time with
his foster mom when she is working in the studio.

TSR welcomes Buddy to our loving arms. Buddy came to us from the Guilford County Animal Shelter, and we thank the personnel there for recognizing that Buddy needs more care than many other
Buddy has difficulty standing from a seated position and may possible be suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), which in simple terms is a herniated disc. Buddy was found
as a stray so his overall physical condition is currently being evaluated, but in much need of improvement. A combination of the possible IVDD, being overweight, and open sores on his feet make it
difficult for Buddy to walk. He has several large fat pockets, or lipomas, on his side and stomach. He also has a concerning small mass on his chest which will be looked at soon.
TSR is currently in need of a foster/adopter that has a carpeted residence so Buddy can walk around easier, is able to carry/assist a 45lb dog to outside areas for exercise & etc. and will
work hard with Buddy to make sure he stays on a strict diet.
TSR is also seeking donations to assist with Buddy's medical bills. Donations may be made by clicking on the Donate button on the left side of the screen, or via snail mail to PO Box 426,
Youngsville, NC 27596. Please note "Buddy's journey" on your donations. No donation is too small.
