In Memoriam: Abigail

Abigail getting ready for a cold day outside

We were blessed to have Abigail in our lives for over 2 1/2 years.
So many people wondered why we adopted a senior dog as she was 12 at the time. Our sweet Sadie Sheltie had passed away after 15 years with dementia and we could not imagine what would happen to her if we had died
and no one wanted her because she was "old". It was easy to adopt Abigail. Just look at her sweet face and that was our answer.
She had a very hard life before arriving at TSR and
was blessed that she was turned over to TSR. She was taken care of immediately and her medical issues were addressed and taken care of. She was then put into a wonderful foster home.
When I picked her up, I knew she would steal our hearts and so she did. She was a tiny little lady and we spoiled her rotten and loved every moment we spent with her. She was cute, funny and oh, soooo sweet. She loved treats! She never
gave us a moment's worry or trouble. We just ran out of time being able to love her more and take care of her.
She brought love and joy into our home and is terribly missed. Thank you sweet Abigail for loving us and making our lives so full. We will see you on the other side.
Thank you, Sherri.
Hugs and Tears,
Peggy
