Flame - June 29, 2003
Flame was a sweet, gentle soul. After being rescued from her life in an outside pen for the past 6 years, she craved love and attention. She asked for nothing more than to be loved and she returned that love 10-fold. Flame had a severe heartworm infection, infected ears and was suffering from malnutrition. It was too much for her frail body to handle.

On June 29, 2003, Flame was sent to the bridge due to complications from the heartworm infection.
