Does this face look familiar? If you are a regular reader of our website, you'll remember the story of a little puppy that came in to our program needing an operation to repair a defect in her heart. Visitors to our website and our volunteers donated over $3,000 so she could have this operation, and an anonymous person even bid $225 to give her a name ... Joy. You can read her story here.

Joy in her younger days

Joy was adopted by a family in Fayetteville and is now doing fine. She recently made a return visit to the N.C. State University Vet School where she was given a clean bill of health and has become a beautiful young sheltie!
